NeoDen has launched their next generation pick and place machine at the International Lighting Fair Exhibition and it’s beautiful. Not much has been confirmed at this point, but we do know it is compatible with a conveyor system, has an enclosure, has top and bottom vision, and there is a new design for the feeders.
We had evaluated the TM-240A for doing small batches of products. The dream is to fill the gap between hand soldering a few boards and sending a design to a PCBA house. However, the NeoDen TM-240A (without vision) were too much work to keep operating smoothly. This new machine will be great for small products like the Graphic LCD Arduino Shield.
We will update this post as more information becomes available. Is this new machine a game changer? Tell us what you think below.
In the meantime you can go on a tour of the NeoDen factory.
